Postural and motion exam to identify the actual driver — joint, disc, soft-tissue, or upstream from the shoulder.
Cervical-specific adjustments and soft-tissue work targeted to the segments that are restricted.
Therapeutic exercise and ergonomic coaching for the desk/phone factors that keep flaring it.
Imaging or medical input when the pattern suggests disc or nerve involvement that needs deeper workup.

Questions patients ask about this
Is neck cracking safe?
When done by a trained chiropractor on a properly evaluated neck, cervical adjustments are safe. We screen for the small number of conditions where they're not appropriate, and we use lower-force techniques when that's the better fit.
Will I need imaging?
Only if the exam findings warrant it — we don't X-ray every patient. If you've had recent imaging elsewhere, bring it.
